MARSHFIELD, BROCKTON, BRIDGEWATER, CANTON, MA, ISSUED JULY 31, 2023… Road to Responsibility (RTR; http://roadtoresponsibility.org/), one of the region’s largest and most successful nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is delighted to announce that its 12-year partnership with Xerox® Business Solutions-Northeast has been honored by the Boston Business Journal with a Community Collaboration Award. Xerox® is being recognized for its contributions to RTR ranging from serving as the Marshfield nonprofit’s annual gala presenting sponsor, to supporting the RTR team in the Falmouth Road Race, to helping to modernize the organization’s business technology. “We are thrilled to learn that Xerox® Business Solutions -Northeast is being honored by the Boston Business Journal for their longstanding collaboration with us,” said RTR President and CEO Christopher T. White Ed.D. “Randy Baril (regional president at the Xerox® Canton, MA campus) and his team have been amazing partners over the past 12 years and so richly deserve this recognition.” The Community Collaboration Award, along with the Social Leadership Award, are the two categories that comprise The Boston Business Journal’s 2023 Corporate Citizenship Awards. All award recipients will be honored at a special event taking place on September 7th in the Boston Seaport. About Road to Responsibility, Inc. (RTR) was established in 1988 with the overarching belief that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve to have full, rich, and rewarding lives in the community, and therefore works to provide the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow citizens with disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community.
