The first will be on Saturday, September 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the bank’s 800 Chief Justice Cushing Highway location in Cohasset, MA, and the second will be held on September 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the bank’s 248 Andover Street location in Peabody, MA. Local residents can reduce their risk of identity theft by bringing old mail, receipts, statements or bills, cancelled checks, pay stubs, medical records, or any other unwanted paper documents containing personal or confidential information and shredding them safely and securely for free. Bay State Shredding, a professional document destruction company, will be on site and can accept up to two boxes of documents per car. No appointment is necessary.
